Membership Numbers | |
o Currently standing at 41 Members including 7 Honourary Members o Some people sitting on the Committee are not Members, and all Committee members need to be OUUEG Members o A list of expected Members was compiled, and is to be followed up by George & Kieran. Membership policy is to be strictly enforced | |
Honourary Members | |
o No more Honourary Memberships to be granted. Existing Honourary Memberships will continue to be honoured | |
Training | |
o A few Ocean Divers to complete. Sports Diver Lectures underway, numbers unknown. | |
Treasurer | |
o Auditing issue - should try to minimize flow through accounts; trip organizers to arrange trip finances separately o Comments on how to organize trip money – Recommendation to collect money in advance given recent difficulties. | |
Kit Officer | |
o Forward planning of numbers for servicing, further purchase etc o Commitment to maintain 15 good sets o Problem of Luke’s kit being confused as Club kit – Luke to submit estimate o Luke’s nitrox reg servicing – to be done with Cub regs o Policy on personal kit being used as Cub kit i.e. it shouldn’t be – re-iterated and confirmed o Drysuits to be sold, along with anything else of value | |
Boat Officer | |
o The boat officer is uncontactable! No maintenance conducted that Committee is aware of. o Alex has organized a BH course to be run by Steve A o Boat to be based in Torquay as a default, but moved to Weymouth for Trinity term (roughly) if justified by demand o Resolve to appoint an assistant boat officer (Alex/Paul to work on this) | |

o Luke is organising, the plan is underway, waiting for deposits. Luke reports no issues. | |
