Dive Leader - Advanced Diver Training

The next level of training after Sports Diver is Dive Leader and then Advanced Diver, and maybe even First Class Diver. These qualifications are also obtained through a combination of lectures, dives, and training courses. See the BSAC Diver Qualification Books for more details, or log on to the BSAC WebSite

Once qualified as a Sports Diver it is then possible to commence training as a BSAC Instructor, by attending the intial Instructor Foundation Course on the Instructor Training Scheme, and possibly working through from Assistant Instructor, all the way through to Advanced Instuctor, or the dizzy heights of National Instructor.

The OUUEG organises a variety of courses towards the continuing diver qualifications, but the Instructor Courses are organised through BSAC HQ.
